The Curragh ( or Naomhóg in Irish ) is a traditional rowing boat of the Dingle area. In former times men were often seen carrying them in from the coast line. John has captured this image in time with his beautiful cufflinks, an Icon of Dingle Peninsula.

My wife and I were in Dingle in October 2013. I admired these cufflinks. On Christmas morning in Kentucky, she gave me a sterling silver pair. I am wearing them today, and at midday have had several inquiries about the design. I am proud to tell the story!
